Retirees meeting: Thursday, May 2nd at 10 am Only 20 attended.
Officers meeting: Thursday, May 2nd at 6 pm
Membership meeting: Thursday, May 9 at 7 pm Only 18 attended.
The Trap Range will be open Tuesday evenings at 5 pm for practice shooting. Due to rising target cost, prices this season will be $7.00 member and $7.50 non-member. You must have your membership card to receive the discount. I have been receiving calls about shooting on Sunday. We need more help to make that possible.
The club office will be closed on Sundays for the foreseeable future. Dues can always be paid by mail. Please get your dues payments in as soon as possible. The gate combination has been changed.
Youth Outdoor Day is just around the corner coming up on June 9th. This is a very big event for the Club and we need all the help we can get. Details will be posted on the website.
There will be a CMP registered military rifle shoot at our range on Saturday May 25th. Details will be posted on the website. Come out and exercise your 2nd Amendment rights on Memorial Day weekend.
Our next Steel Challenge shoot will be Sunday May 19th. Details are on the website. Go to the black header at the top of the page, click on USPSA and steel challenge for the full schedule.

Mowing; the guys are getting caught up with the mowing. The pto clutch was replaced on our Toro at a cost of about $1,200.00 for the parts. Labor was supplied in house. The new to us Bobcat zero turn mower had to have a mower deck belt replaced. The old belt had been installed wrong and was destroyed. Both mowers are now running and mowing. Fingers crossed.
Attendance at our monthly retirees and membership meetings has been very sparse. Less than one percent of our membership attended. So to hopefully increase our membership involvement at the monthly membership meeting the Board is considering moving the meeting to early Saturday Morning. By doing so we could open the kitchen for breakfast before the meeting and if there is any interest we could open the trap range after the business meeting. We would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

A big thank you to all the guys who came out to the work party Saturday. We got loads of things accomplished. It’s members like this that make a huge impact on the club. Thank you!
Mowing: Our Toro Zero turn mower made it about 3 hours this season until its first breakdown. We are waiting on special order parts to get it going again.
Facebook is deleting our posts about shooting activities. In other words, we are being censored by Big Brother. It is becoming a complete waste of my time to bother posting there. I just received a notice that I am not allowed to post for 30 days. What a joke! I have better things to do. -Frank
