June 19, 2026 Summer Rimfire Match Saturday June 20th 2026. Open to all Members, Guests, and Non-Members. See details on our website under the Rifle Range tab. The Rifle Range will be closed during this event’s hours. Youth Outdoor Day Although the numbers participating this year were down a little, everyone attending had a great time. The rain held off just long enough. Thanks to all the volunteers including Cliff from Buckeye Drone. Check out the pictures on our website under the Youth Day tab. Pistol Range The drain lines for the newly installed rain gutters have been completed. Thanks to Nick & Richard. Ladies Night at the Pistol Range Thursday evenings from 6pm until 8pm. Members feel free to bring a guest ($10 guest fee required). Practice Trap & 5 Stand The Trap range and 5 Stand are open on Tuesday evenings from 5pm until 7pm. Bring your own ammo. Price is $10 (members & guests) per 25 target round. Price Increase Due to increases in target prices we will be raising the fees for the Trap; Beginning June 1, 2026 Members and youth (under 18) $7 Non-Members $9 5 Stand Shoot & Breakfast Every fourth Saturday of the month. See the flyer on our website under Club News. Lake Please abide by the catch and release rule for Bass and Catfish until further notice. ATA Central Zone Shoot Program July 24-26, 2026. Pre-squadding is available at sosclays.com and is strongly recommended due to limited squads. Gun Raffle Tickets for the next gun raffle are $10.00 the winner will have their choice of either a Kimber .45ACP or S&W.357 magnum handguns, Henry rifle (your choice of available caliber) or cash option of $500. Contact Ron Krysiak (216-316-1748). NLFG at Canal Days We probably have enough sign-ups for Thursday and Friday at Canal Days. We could use some more for Saturday during the 11:00am-2:00pm slot and 2:00pm to 5:00pm slot. Any additional help beyond that would be welcome. Dates are July 9, 10, & 11. I will try to put an updated sign-up sheet in the clubhouse in the next few days. A member reported that he found one on his dog after visiting the lake. Please use spray (containing permethrin) and check for ticks whenever you have been outdoors. The ODNR website has information on identification and prevention that is very helpful. Ticks in Ohio | Ohio Department of Natural Resources Membership Renewal You can still renew for 2026. Renewal forms can be downloaded from our website or available in the office during meetings. Bring your renewal form and dues to the membership meeting(s) or as always you can also mail them in. The date for regular renewal has passed. Late dues are $340.80 Keep your RFID card. It will be reactivated when dues are received. Thank you. New member referral rebate If you are a current member and bring in a new member for 2026, the Club will give you a $50 rebate. There is no limit to the number of new members you can bring in. This applies to 2026 memberships only. Make sure the new candidate states that you referred them at the bottom of your form.
