Lake and Surrounding Area Policies
- Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times.
- Guests must sign in using the member’s name and ID number before beginning to fish.
- Every guest must pay the posted per day, per person fee prior to using either the lake or the range. Currently the fee is $10.00 per guest per day to use the lake and to use the range. One fee covers both activities
- A youth under 18 years old, accompanied by a member, is exempt from paying the fee. Sign in and entering data into the log record is still required.
- Please use the supplied envelopes provided at the range. Put the fee in the envelope and put it through the slot in the range building. If the guest is shooting and fishing, please mark the envelope with “LAKE and RANGE”.
- All anglers, either members or guests, must sign the fishing log book before beginning and upon departure, even if nothing was caught. The purpose of the log book is to better track species and population in order to improve future fishing experiences.
- Because of the ever changing species and population of the fish in the lake, specific fishing regulations and limits may change and will be posted yearly.
- Have your membership card visible on your person at all times.
- No swimming or inner tubing.
- No unsupervised trot, set, or bank lines, or jug fishing. You must have a license if you intend to take turtles or frogs.
- It is permissible to bow fish for long nose gar
- No chumming or fish feeding.
- No introduction of fish from outside sources, this includes bait minnows, do not dump unused minnows in lake.
- Electric boat motors only. Boats must be transported, they cannot be left overnight with the exception of members or their guests camping.
- No vehicles permitted on the dike.
- Keep dogs under control. No dogs in the lake during spawning season.
- Dogs are not permitted in or around the lake during breeding season May 1 thru June 30, this destroys fish nesting.
- Please use trash containers. Build fires in the fire rings found in the camping area only. Camp in the designated campsites only.
